Mother's Day

Just a quick note before I head to Church.

As someone who struggled to have a child of my own, Mother's day was a terrible holiday to deal with during those months. For those of you in my world, who want more than anything to hold their own child, who are struggling for that to happen, I pray for you this weekend. I pray The Lord would hear your cries, bind your pain. I pray you would TURN TO HIM, the one who is able to do all things, and cling to HIM. I also, want you to know if you need a knowing ear, I am here with two. If you would like me to pray for you by name, please send me a note.

My Story

So as you know...I'm doing the When Women #WalkInFaith online bible study with #P31OBS. It has been amazing. 

Last week during the Bible Study Live portion I was really moved by a question :

11. Is there an area of your life that you may struggle to BELIEVE God will get you through or provide for? For BSL Team member Melissa Chambers, it’s believing God wants to use her in any possible way. Melissa is choosing to believe God’s truth in Psalm 73:26, “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” If you are comfortable,share with us what you struggle to believe. Let’s take a moment to pray over each other’s comments so we can all dare to believe we are who God says we are!

 Here was my answer: I'm struggling with God's plan for me...I want to use my past of being raped in a way to Glorify God, but I keep questioning if it is He who wants me to use my story or if it is ME that wants to use my story. How can God really use me, a nobody?

After that event, about 5 people with #p31OBS reached out to me, It was an amazing expericnce to see God work like that. I've been able to chat with a few of them a little bit more, and they are praying for me as I try to figure out ways to share my story of how I was raped and how God is using that part of me for the better. I'm still praying, I don't know what or Where God wants to use me. 

Last night was a #twitterparty, also amazing! We were asked what was one word we would like prayed over us. I said #where, #where can I use my story, #where should my story be heard. Today while reading When Women Walk In Faith, I came across the following :

Notice that #pinkink??? AHH! I can't stand writing in my books with pen...it is so permanent. But I just knew when I read that section I had to use the pen...not the pencil sitting next to it. It had to be permanet, It had to stay. I need to pray about sharing my story, and I need to share my story. So here I am writing out my pray to My Father In Heaven, and what do you think would come on my itunes radio? "Write Your Story" by Francesca Battistelli. 

Is God showing me he is here and listening to me or what?!?! 

Over the next few days, I promise, to keep praying over my story. I am planning, if The Lord agrees, I will expand more on my history over the next few weeks.

Happy Lord's Day!
Sorry for the lack of posting again! Still trying to get settled and into a routine! 

I just wanted to explain this new hashtag I'm putting out in the world. 

I'm doing a #P31OBS (Proverbs 31 Online Bible Study) called #walkinfaith (What Happens When Women Walk in Faith, by Lysa TerKeurst) and a few weeks ago they asked us if we could hashtag ourselves what would it be. Well, at that moment I said #princesskj because I am a princess. A child of the one true King. 

Then....like minutes later....I saw a Facebook post from @nataliegrant explaining her new shirt that says, "Sometimes Warriors Wear Heels". 

At that point, I changed my hashtag to #warriorprincessKJ, because lets face it, I'm a warrior and a princess all rolled into one. I fight everyday to stay a float! To stay on the path the Lord wants me on...not to head down Satan's road. I battle daily to make sure my kid's don't find Satan's road. I fight daily for my Marriage.

I do these things by praying. Praying is the number one way we can battle Satan. Satan hates it when we pray! That is how Satan losses his grip on us, by spending time with God, our Father, who art in heaven. Amazing God. 

I'm hoping to start sharing more of what is going on in my bible study here on my page. Hopefully that will happen. I enjoy typing out my thoughts from my head and heart. However, I hate having my little one in the office with me, and lately she is all about needing her mama, which I by no means hate. :) I love it actually, won't be this way forever. 

On another note: would you all say a little prayer for me? I applied to volunteer with Proverbs 31 Online Bible Studies (#P31OBS). If you could all pray that God's will be done with my application, that would be fantastic. 

One more thing: Happy Birthday B! I love you babe!
